Introducing: Deirdre and Dehlia!

Before I get started here I just want to clear one thing up; tabby cats are the BEST! These sweet little girls are about three and a half weeks old and are already gruel eating champions!

They got to go straight into the "big kitty" playpen and are loving the extra space. I'm so happy to have such sweet little foster girls!

I'll try to get a fun video of them "swimming" in their food later. It's super messy and super cute!

Paige is missing! Please help!

Paige went missing two-three days ago during a spat of rainstorms. We think that she jumped off of our second-story balcony and is hiding somewhere in the apartment complex.

I have been placing food outside in the hopes that she is still nearby and will come and eat something. I have seen no sign of her and am getting more and more worried about her as each day passes. She has never been an outside cat and with her skittish personality she is most likely not doing well.

Introducing Little Girl and Itty Bitty: temporary fosters!

Earlier this morning the team at APA contacted me with a short-term foster opportunity. Two little week-old babies needed someone to take over their care until a long-term foster could be found.

Aren't they precious??! And check out this adorable video of Little Girl sleeping! It looks like she's dreaming of more milk!

Playing catch-up

Little Eddie has some new friends with Foster Momma N! We decided that my little boy needed socialization and N. kindly agreed to add him to her bunch! He's been loving the play time and N. sent me some cute pictures.

I'm so happy for Eddie but a home without fosters feel so empty! Since the family and I are going out of state at the end of next month I didn't want to take a new litter of kittens and have to send them off after only a few weeks. So I signed up as a baby-sitter and temporary foster for emergency situations.

We also brought home miss Paige, a two-year-old from the city animal shelter who was doing very poorly in the shelter. This very shy lady will stay with us until she's had a chance to decompress and recover from the stress of being abandoned by her owner.

Paige has blossomed over the past week and a half; from a terrified cat who wouldn't come out from under the couch to a sweet little kitty who is curious about EVERYTHING!

Paige is up for adoption now through Austin Pets Alive!
